Home : Project Synopsis

The underlying incentive of the Institute is the call to Tawheed (monotheism), promoting the traditional understanding of Islam, establishment of Muslim alliances and brotherhood, the invitation to the Islamic system, and the supporting of correct Muslim activity.

The Institute adopts a non-partisan and inclusive policy so as to create inroads into the Muslim community where collective work and effort can be appreciated and established.

From the aims of the Institute are the following:

• To promote the correct understanding of Islam as a comprehensive way of life.

• To promote greater dialogue between Muslims and non-Muslims in an atmosphere of conviviality and understanding. The Institute seeks to remove prejudices based on misunderstanding and recognises the need for transparency in its modus operandi.

• To work for the dissemination of central Islamic beliefs and values in the Muslim world.

• To provide a response to the intellectual challenges facing the Muslims in the modern world.

• To create a network of relevant experts and specialists interested in sharing views and expertise on the Ummah’s theological, political, security and economic developments.

• To remove all obstacles and impediments of partisanship, thereby fostering better internal and external relationships amongst Muslims.

• To draw attention to Islam’s pivotal contribution to civilisation; the Institute seeks to highlight the vibrancy of cohesive coexistence under Islamic governance.
